Day 1 Vientiane
After arrival at Vientiane international airport pick up by our guide and transfer to the hotel. After check in visit to Wat Sisaket with its approximate 6.840 Buddha statues and Hor Prakeo with a collection of consecrated art objects including Buddha statues in various position of mediation. Visit to That Luang Stupa the national symbol of Laos. Continue the tour and visit Patuxay known as the Arc de Triumph of Vientiane. Time to enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the gate. Transfer back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2 Vientiane – Luang Prabang (B)
After breakfast in the hotel transfer to the airport. Domestic flight from Vientiane to Luang Prabang. The World Heritage Site belongs to one of the best preserved cities in South East Asia. After arrival in Luang Prabang transfer to the hotel for check in. Afterwards, visit Wat Xiengthoung close to the banks of the Mekong River. Continue to the city’s ancient temple Wat Visun. Enjoy a panoramic view from Mount Phousi overlooking the city and the surrounding landscape. Visit a local night market before transfer back to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 3 Mekong River (B)
After breakfast visit the Royal Palace. Continue by boat along the mighty Mekong River and visit the mysterious Pak Ou Cave which is packed with thousands of golden Buddha statues of various sizes. Visit a local community where villagers produce rice wine. Afterwards, drive to Ban Sang Khong village and watch farmers fabricating traditional textiles and Sa Paper. Return to Luang Prabang. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the peaceful town. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4 Luang Prabang – Xieng Khuang (B/L)
After breakfast in the hotel drive towards Xieng Khuang province. The tour leads along remote mountainous roads passing local villages, waterfalls and caves. On the way visit H’Mong and K’Mu hill tribe communities. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue towards Xieng Khuang. On the way stopover at a site of over 200 years old Buddha Statues. Transfer to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 Xieng Khuang – Vientiane (B)
After breakfast visit a local market. Continue to the Plain of Jars. The historic cultural site contains thousands of stone jars which recline scattered throughout the Xieng Khuang plain in the Lao Highlands. There are total of more than 400 sites across the whole Plain. Continue to Muong Khoune the former capital city of Xieng Khuang. Time at your leisure until transfer to the airport for departure. Domestic flight to Vientiane. After arrival pick up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
Day 6 Vientiane (B)
After breakfast in the hotel time at your leisure until transfer to Vientiane airport for departure.
