Day 1-3 Bangkok
After arrival pick up at Bangkok airport and transfer to the hotel. Days at your leisure to explore the city’s many temples and shopping centers.
Day 3-8 Phuket
In the morning pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport. Domestic flight from Bangkok to Phuket. After arrival pick up at the airport and transfer to the resort. Days at your leisure. Explore Thailand’s largest island with its tranquil bays and long beaches or visit Phuket town with its Sino-Portuguese architecture.
Day 8-10 Khao Sok
In the morning pick up from the hotel and transfer to Khao Sok National Park. Check in at the resort. Afterwards enjoy elephant trekking through the rain forest and a River Tour over the Sok River through dense jungle passing impressive limestone mountains and cliffs.
On the second day in Khao Sok explore a lake in the jungle by local boat. The lake is surrounded by limestone mountains and cliffs covered in tropical rainforest that rise up from the shore of the lake and disappear into the far distance. The scenery has been compared to Qualin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam. Few people know of the lake and even less have visited it. There are over one hundred islands in the lake and it is over 60 km from north to south.
Day 10-15 Koh Samui
After breakfast trek through the Jungle in Khao Sok. Opportunity to explore the ecology of the rainforest, to see a great variety of exotic plants, tropical hardwood trees with huge roots, orchids, palms, ferns, bamboos, mosses; the variety is unlimited. Birds such as the hornbill live high up above, gibbon can often be heard calling to their mates, a macaque or leaf monkey may be heard swinging through the branches.
(Optional: time to relax at the resort until departure)
After lunch transfer and ferry to Koh Samui and your hotel. The following days are at your leisure to explore Thailand’s third largest island with its coconut groves and fine sandy beaches.
On the last day pick up from the hotel and transfer to Phuket airport for departure.
