Day 1-5 Krabi
After arrival pick up at Krabi airport and transfer to the hotel for check in.On the second day after arrival in Krabi, day tour to the surrounding islands. Swim and snorkel through the crystal clear waters, discover the colorful coral reefs and enjoy a pick-nick lunch on an outlying sand bank surrounded by the limestone rocks of Phang Nga Bay.The following days are at your leisure to discover the region with its impressive limestone rocks, tropical beaches and surrounding islands.
Day 5-7 Khao Sok
In the morning pick up from the hotel and transfer to Khao Sok National Park. Check in at the resort. Afterwards enjoy elephant trekking through the rain forest and a River Tour over the Sok River through dense jungle passing impressive limestone mountains and cliffs.
On the second day in Khao Sok explore a lake in the jungle by local boat. The lake is surrounded by limestone mountains and cliffs covered in tropical rainforest that rise up from the shore of the lake and disappear into the far distance. The scenery has been compared to Qualin in China or Halong Bay in Vietnam. Few people know of the lake and even less have visited it. There are over one hundred islands in the lake and it is over 60 km from north to south.
Day 7-11 Khao Lak
After breakfast trek through the Jungle in Khao Sok. Opportunity to explore the ecology of the rainforest, to see a great variety of exotic plants, tropical hardwood trees with huge roots, orchids, palms, ferns, bamboos, mosses; the variety is unlimited. Birds such as the hornbill live high up above, gibbon can often be heard calling to their mates, a macaque or leaf monkey may be heard swinging through the branches. (Optional: time to relax at the resort until departure)
After lunch transfer and ferry to Khao Lak and your hotel. Check in at the resort.
On the second day after arrival day tour to the impressive underwater world of the Similan islands. Swim and snorkel along the beaches of one of Thailand's most remarkable marine national parks and enjoy a pick nick lunch on one of the beaches.
The following days are at you leisure to relax on the endless and lonely beaches of Khao Lak.
On the last day transfer to Phuket or Krabi airport for departure.
